While fans debate if Christopher Reeve’s face appears for a brief second in a scene in Man Of Steel, it should be pointed out that Warner Bros. has a history of including Christopher Reeve tributes in their films.The animated film The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 includes an image of a classic Chistopher Reeve as Superman poster. The Christopher Reeve poster appears in the background of a scene where Batman and Superman are facing off against one another.And while the Christopher Reeve poster is pretty clear in the background, director Jay Olivia confirmed the Easter Egg, just to remove any doubt. Olivia said, “I figured Christopher Reeve, and there’s also the ’89 Batman…those are still those kind of eighties call backs, and I still want to remind the audience that those characters could have eventually become The Dark Knight Returns characters.”Does the fact that Warner Bros. included a Christopher Reeve tribute in another recent film make it more believable that they might have done it again with Man Of Steel?
