While Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak’s recent sex scene on Arrow may have felt steamy to most viewers, the actors spicing up the screen were just trying not to laugh.

During a recent interview, Felicity Smoak actor Emily Bett Rickards revealed revealed that she tried her best to get co-star Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) to crack during their hot night in Nanda Parbat. As Rickards revealed, she whispered in Amell’s ear—in what we assume was her best Christian Bale Batman voice—”Don’t make any noise.”
Naturally, Amell did just the opposite. Rickards also mentioned some inside joke involving fart noises, which—lets face it—could make the grimmest vigilante cackle.
