Recently, a bit of controversy sprung up over a poster for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
The poster featured Eva Green as her character, Ava Lord. In the poster, she’s mostly naked. The poster was banned and subsequently re-touched before being released again to the public.

As a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Green expressed that she didn’t understand what the big deal about the poster was, saying that people were more concerned with her breasts than the gun her character was holding.
She also admitted that the film required a little more nudity from her than she was originally expected.
“Well, it was inspired by a graphic novel,” Green says. “So I was like, oh my god, no, no, no, it’s impossible. I’m going to wear a corset, or some underwear. The director, Robert Rodriguez, was like, ‘No, no, you have to be naked. We’ll do it with taste and style.’”
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For comes to theaters August 22.
