That sentence is but one example of how wonderful this medium of comics can be, but a great premise is only as good as the creative team that shepherds it along, and Buck has assembled some talented individuals for the task. The book is being created by Noble Transmission, which consists of Eisner-nominated artist Zach Howard (TMNT, Shaun of the Dead, The Cape), and creators Mike Raicht (The Stuff of Legend, Wild Blue Yonder) and Austin Harrison (Wild Blue Yonder, Transformers Animated Series).

“Wereallybelievethatwehaveaspecialstoryhere, and I’mexcitedtogettousethe platform of LINE Webtoon to prove it,” said Buck artist and co-creator Zach Howard.

The series tells the story of a young rabbit named Buck, who’s father Alton is a great general of the warrior rabbit army. The rabbits are at war with the barbaric ferrets of the land, and Buck must gather and defend his people from their wrath. The only way to do that is to live up to his father’s legacy and become the warrior he is meant to be.

“Developing Buck with a publisher like LINE Webtoon is exciting and new for us at Noble Transmission. We will work hard to transmit a compelling energy into the universe.” added co-creator Austin Harrison.

“The level of talent that is involved in the creation of Buck is amazing โ€“ some of the best yet โ€“ we know this story is going to develop into a robust franchise with Buck being just the beginning,” said JunKoo Kim, Founder and Head of LINE Webtoon.

Buck is set to appear on digital devices sometime in 2017, but you can download the LINE Webtoon app on iOS and Android now. While you anxiously wait to read it, you can view the first artwork from Buck in the gallery.
