Get ready to duel, Yu-Gi-Oh! fans. The anime is set to have a rather impressive year, and U.S. fans are about to get a taste of what 2017 has in store for the franchise. At the end of January, 4K Media will be bringing Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions to theaters in the U.S. and Canada. The film, which opened in Japan last April, will follow Yugi Mutou as he and his friends go head-to-head with a dangerous new villain. And, now, a brand-new trailer for the film has been released that previews its English dub.

The explosive trailer gives fans their first taste of Aigami’s English voice thanks to actor Daniel J. Edwards. The dark video kicks off with the villain doing away with a group of seedy citizens before Yugi is reintroduced. The hero is concerned that groups of people are suddenly disappearing in their city, but it doesn’t take long for Aigami to make himself known. The tyrant claims he has the power to turn his world into something grand, but Yugi is unwilling to let the baddie see his plans for world domination come to fruition.
Of course, Aigami finds himself in a bit of a pickle when the two begin dueling. The Blue-Eyes, White Dragon has hat effect, ou see.

Abroad, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions has made a killing at the Japanese box-office. The film debuted in April and pulled in $1.2 million on its opening weekend. So far, the anime feature has earned more than $9 million total during its run.
In Spring 2017, a brand-new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is also set to hit televisions thanks to TV Tokyo. The new series will follow a hero named Yลซsaku Fujiki as he enters the dangerous world of Duel Monsters.
