The YouTube channel Cinefix has had a little fun with the upcoming RoboCop film. They’ve taken the film’s trailer and done a homemade, shot-for-shot recreation.The mock trailer relies heavily on some well-crafted cardboard suits and the use of action figures and other toys for action scenes and large group shots. It’s some pretty resourceful shooting.In RoboCop, when Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) – a loving husband, father and good cop – is critically injured in the line of duty, the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer.RoboCop (the Hollywood film, not the homemade one) will be released in theaters February 12, 2014.
