As usual, Hot Topic is getting a round of exclusives. In this case it’s Black Canary, Catwoman, Supergirl, Poison Ivy, and Mera. A glow-in-the-dark version of Poison Ivy will also be available along with Mera in a sailor outfit. Again, both have a rarity of one in six.

DC Comics Bombshells began as a line of DC Comics superheroine statues evoking the retro 1940s style of artist Ant Lucia. The designs were a hit with fans and so the merchandise line expanded to include t-shirts, mugs, toys and other memorabilia. The DC Comics Bombshells got their own line of DC Comics variant covers and a comic book series set in an alternate history of the DC Comics universe was launched.
Bennett’s DC Comics Bombshells run launched in 2015 and has been incredibly well-received by fans. The DC digital-first series has been noted for starring an entirely female core cast, inclusivity of LGBTQ characters, spotlighting female friendship, and having a more female friendly tone than the average superhero comic book. DC Comics Bombshells also adeptly combines the traditional backstories of iconic characters with hints from Lucia’s original designs and the genre fiction of the 1940s era.
