With loads of good stuff being revealed at the 2017 New York Toy Fair, it’s easy to miss some of the cooler announcements. But the LEGO Group did not disappoint with their new sets in some of the best geek-friendly themes they offer.

LEGO unveiled new sets in the Star Wars, DC SuperHero Girls, and Pirates of the Caribbean lines todayโall of them set to hit stores later this year. We’ve already mentioned the Spider-Man: Homecoming sets, but there were plenty more big reveals.
While we’ve seen some of the BrickHeadz from Marvel, DC, and Beauty and the Beast, LEGO unveiled a couple of surprises.
They also revealed everything from smaller, cheaper sets to a large and pricey must-have for collectors.
So even if you’re a casual fan, a builder, or a collector, they have offerings for everyone.
We’ll detail some of our favorite announcements in the following slides, so make sure you click through and you’ll probably find something you can’t live without.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
First on the docket is the Captain Salazar’s new ship in Pirates of the Caribbean, the Silent Mary!
โจThe ship contains over 2,000 pieces and comes with eight minifigures, including Captain Jack Sparrow and the film’s new villain Salazar. โจโจThe ship’s build replicates the broken and skeletal frame of the boat as depicted in the new trailer. It looks to be an intricate set, requiring lots of meticulous piece placement.
The set will retail for $199
But aside from this huge set that will be available in April, LEGO also announced new entries into their BrickHeadz line.
Both Captain Jack and Captain Salazar are now represented in the Disney lineup, joining the Belle and Beast characters from Beauty and the Beast.
They should be on shelves for about $9.99 each.
DC SuperHero Girls
More sets in the DC SuperHero Girls line will be released soon, including their most popular characters (aside from Wonder Woman, but she’s getting the Invisible Jet soon so we’ll let it slide). Thanks to BrickShow for snapping these pics.
Aside from Harley Quinn’s Dorm, a black-and-red carnival themed set that seems the smaller and most affordable, they’ve included sets based on Batgirl and Lena Luthor’s headquarters.
The Batgirl Secret Bunker includes the title character’s hideout, a prisoner transport vehicle, as well as minidolls of Batgirl and Mad Harriet.
The Batgirl-themed set consists of 351 pieces.
The biggest set focuses on Lena Luthor’s hideout, where she conducts experiments on her poor captive Krypto.
But it also includes a Supergirl minidoll, as well as a speedboat for her character because who doesn’t need a speedboat?
The Lena Luthor Kryptonite Factory is the largest set of the bunch consists of 432 pieces.
Star Wars
Star Wars remains among the most popular themes LEGO offers and they’re offering more Original, Prequel, Force Awakens, and Freemaker Adventure sets before they gear up for Force Friday and the Last Jedi.
While we’ve already seen some of these sets before, the official announcements are welcome now that we know we’re getting a Bounty Hunter Battle Pack.โจโจSo anyone that missed out on Dengar and Bosch will be able to get their hands on the coolest bounty hunters in the galaxy (sorry, Boba Fett and Greedo) alongside IG-88 and 4LOM.
They’re also providing a set focusing on Vader’s transformation, which includes minifigures of the Emperor, Darth Vader, and the burnt Anakin Skywalker. Surprisingly, Anakin has all of his limbs intact. Nothing a little modification won’t fix.
Perhaps one of the coolest sets, however, is from a memorable scene in the Force Awakens.
The Rathtar Escape includes a couple of brick-built Rathtars, Han Solo, and Chewbacca. It also comes with Bala-Tik and some members of the Guavian Death Gang. So while we previously had Tasu Leech and Kanjiklub, we now get the other gang who want Solo dead! Finally!
