Everybody loves Vigilante. Freddie Stroma’s take on Adrian Chase is vastly different than any iteration of the character fans have ever seen before. So much so, Stroma’s performance in Peacemaker has fans raving about the actor and creator so much, he’s still a trending topic three days after the character’s biggest appearance yet in the fourth episode of the HBO Max series.

“[Stroma] came in late. We had already shot five-and-a-half episodes with another actor, who’s an incredibly talented guy, but we were on different pages about certain things, and I don’t think he wanted to continue on the series in the long run,” Peacemaker helmer James Gunn previously said about the actor. “So we brought Freddie in, five-and-a-half episodes in, and I reshot all of his scenes…we re-shot. I directed all of the scenes with Vigilante in five and a half episodes.”
