Katelyn Nacon may be best known for portraying Enid on The Walking Dead, but it sounds like she’d love to portray a DC Comics favorite.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Nacon was asked what superhero roles she would be interested in playing. Nacon brought up her love for Deadpool, Batgirl, and Wally West’s The Flash, before bringing up her dream role as Teen Titans member Raven.

“I know oh my gosh, no, Raven, that’s who I always wanted to play.” Nacon revealed. “It was Raven and I missed my chance [to play her in the Titans TV series].”
While newcomer Teagan Croft will be playing Raven in the upcoming Titans series, Nacon has hope that she will get to play the role in some way. As she explained, she’s loved the DC Comics universe for quite some time, and would love to portray the version of Raven seen in last year’s Justice League vs. Teen Titans.
“I remember I was watching like Teen Titans when I was little, I would watch Justice League, Teen Titans those are really so sick.” Nacon explained. “Like I remember I watched this one movie that just recently came out, it’s the one with like Batman and his son and his son becomes Robin and then Robin teams up with Teen Titans.”
As she explains, she found that film’s portrayal of Raven to be very compelling – something that she’d love to adapt onscreen.
“And so Raven was in that one and I thought she was sick in that, and I was like, ‘Can I play the live action version of this?’ I would love that.”
The 2016 animated film saw Raven leading the Teen Titans against Trigon, a demon with the ability to enslave worlds. While it’s too early to tell if that film would be adapted for the big screen, it’s safe to say that it’s pretty easy to picture Nacon in the role.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC at 9 PM EST.
