Rally racing fans will have a lot to dig into today, as Codemasters and Deep Silver has shipped the latest game in its ongoing DiRT series.

DiRT 4 is now available, and comes with a treasure trove of features, cars and tracks that will keep you kicking up the mud for hours on end.

The game features two different handling modes to choose from, opening up the possibilities in DiRT to a number of players. There's Simulation, which will test even the most focused of racing mettle; and Gamer, which is more catered to players looking for more of an arcade experience out of their racing games.

In addition, the game also features a new Your Stage system, where you can create tracks with the push of a button, using one of the game's various settings to do so. That enables you to set up fresh new racing territory within a matter of seconds, in case the authentic tracks included in the game aren't enough for you to conquer.

And with the support of RaceNet, you'll be able to challenge some of the best racing times in the world, as well as online players looking to dominate on the open road.

That said, Deep Silver did make note that the release only relates to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions, as the PC version isn't out yet. However, you won't have to wait too long for it, as it'll be arriving later this week, on June 9th, worldwide.

A new trailer has launched alongside the game, daring racers to "Be Fearless" as they conquer the tracks and try to be the best racer they can possibly be. There's a lot to overcome, but you can always get new vehicles, as well as make tweaks with new parts and balance your team to get the utmost performance out of them. Since it's a DiRT game, that's kind of expected.

The trailer can be seen above, and gives you plenty of reason to get excited for the fourth entry in the series. We'll have a review later this week.

DiRT 4 is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will release on June 9th for PC.
