We're just weeks away from experiencing Codemasters' most detailed racing game to date, the impeccable DiRT 4. But leading up to its release, Deep Silver has released a new trailer for the game, one that features a number of racing veterans talking about the sheer rush that the game delivers. Yes, it includes new gameplay footage to demonstrate its point.

The video features a number of rally and rally cross drivers explaining how the game's realism really comes together, including favorites like Kris Meeke, Petter Soldberg and others, explaining that the fear comes through around every corner, and how they best move on after a crash ends their successful run. Of course, they also discuss what kind of rush comes from pushing your skills to the maximum.

For those that missed it beforehand, here's an official description of the sequel, straight from Deep Silver and Codemasters:

DiRT 4 puts you at the wheel of some of the world's most iconic and powerful off-road vehicles as you test yourself against the road and the elements in a battle against the clock. There is also multicar racing in rallycross and landrush where you will have to be brave and fast in order to take the chequered flag.

Featuring two different handling models, Gamer and Simulation, DiRT 4 offers both depth and accessibility for players old and new to the franchise. The game's innovative Your Stage system allows you to produce a near infinite number of unique rally stages at the touch of a button. Your Stage allows experienced rally players to create longer, more technical routes, whilst newcomers can create simpler shorter routes as they hone their skills.

There's something for everyone in this version of the game, whether you prefer going all-out on the toughest skill settings possible (like you could in the previous iteration, DiRT Rally) or whether you think you need to learn a thing or two before pushing your skills to a new level. That means anyone can hop behind the wheel and race like a pro. That's good, especially for newcomers…but veterans will enjoy the challenge, too. Check out the video above!

DiRT 4 releases on June 6th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
