Yet another update for Grand Theft Auto Online has arrived, and this one lets you fly the not-so-friendly skies with a new aerial vehicle, the Buckingham Howard NX-25.

You can see the slick little airplane in the image below, along with the following description:

"To climb inside a Howard NX-25 is to take a fuel-chugging, pant-wetting, whiplash-inducing trip down memory lane. Back in those glory days you didn't have to choose between form and function: a plane could be fast, easy and surprisingly looking, just like your grandma." (Add the "Oh snap!" comment here.)

The vehicle is now available alongside 15-25 percent off discounts for select Hangar and Hangar Floor Graphics, so you can spruce up the garage you put the Buckingham in.

On top of that, you can score discounts on other vehicles, including the Buckingham Swift Helicopter (35 percent off); the Buckingham Swift Deluxe Helicopter (40 percent off); and many others.

That's about it for new content, but there are plenty of chances to score bonus Double GTA$ and RP through many activities between now and October 2nd. Here's the breakdown from Rockstar:

"Now through October 2nd, there's plenty of opportunity to fatten up that in-game wallet and climb the ranks in the process. Continue to earn big with extended Double GTA$ & RP in Bombushka Run - and if you're looking for some good old fashioned subterranean combat, reap double rewards on all Bunker-based Adversary Modes.

"Also through October 2nd, Biker Business Production and Bunker Research & Manufacturing will be running 25% faster than usual, giving you more bang for your buck as you trade your way to the top."

  • Fort Zancudo Hangar A2 – 25% off
  • Hangar Floor Graphics & Lighting – 25% off
  • Savage (Helicopter) – 35% off (both prices)
  • Parachutes (including Bags & Smoke Trails) – 25% off

And some on the ground as well, at a discount:

  • Annis RE-7B (Super)
  • Western Nightblade (Motorcycle)
  • Principe Lectro (Motorcycle)

Finally, a new Premium Race and Time Trial are available for the week. You can challenge your friends in the Wall Climb Premium Stunt Race (locked to Super cars) as well as the Vinewood Bowl Time Trial. Both are available through October 2nd, and offer up some good GTA$ and RP payouts!
