The Epic Games Store has revealed its free games for the week and they’re very strong titles. It’s incredibly easy to play games without spending a dime or at the very least without breaking the bank. While it may mean waiting to play bigger games, all of the different platforms have ways to let players build up their digital games library at an extremely low cost through free games, massive deals and discounts, and catalogs via subscriptions like Xbox Game Pass. It’s a great time to be a gamer thanks to just how accessible games are. Even though game prices are going up, companies are still finding ways to give out amazing deals.

With all of that said, the latest Epic Games Store deal has been revealed. Starting today, Epic Games Store users can claim Ghostrunner 2 on PC along with Monument Valley 2 and The Battle of Polytopia on the mobile games store. Every week, Epic Games gives out free games via its PC and mobile games store. Although some people take issue with Epic Games Store for how it has leveraged exclusives from Steam amongst other things, it’s a great place to build up a library of free games.

Ghostrunner 2 and More Are Free Through Epic Games Store

Ghostrunner 2 is hands-down the biggest game out of the bunch and it’s also one of the best action games to debut in the last few years. Ghostrunner 2 is a high-octane, first-person action game where you run on walls, dash around, swing from grappling hooks, and slice up enemies with a flashy sword. It’s an incredibly stylish game that gets the adrenaline pumping and a must-play for anyone who likes fast-paced action games. There’s nothing really quite like it and I highly recommend claiming this, even if you don’t plan to play it right away. It’s free to keep, so it’s absolutely worth grabbing this.

As for the two mobile games, Monument Valley 2 is a really delightful puzzle game with a gorgeous and mellow art style. The game plays with illusions and perception with its puzzles, making it a bit trippy, but something that is also extremely easy to pick up and play on your phone during your commute, while waiting around, or just as something to do while lounging around at home. For the turn-based fans out there, The Battle of Polytopia is a throwback to classic turn-based games with a flat, square map to conquer through gameplay.

All around, it’s an extremely solid line-up and each game is worth grabbing. Even if you think you’re not going to play it, it’s completely free, no subscription or extra fees required. You never know when you might be looking for something new to play and having a free backlog helps a lot with narrowing down your decisions. All of these games are free until September 18th through the Epic Games Store.
