Fan Creates Fully Interactive Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline & Map

Remember when Marvel Television's Jeph Loeb used to constantly remind fans that "it's all connected," with "it" being the Marvel movie and television universe?

Well, one fan on Reddit has put an interactive map and timeline together that shows you exactly how true that is.

"I made an MCU timeline since there are a lot of questions lately about when certain events happened in the movies: the car accident of Doctor Strange, how long Ellis has been President," explained Redditor MrRLopez.

You can see the interactive map above, or look for detailed entries here.

Wakanda, of course, is a little on the approximate side since it doesn't exist outside the Marvel Universe.

Fans looking at the map can filter by what sort of event you'd like to see, so if you aren't interested in Agents of SHIELD's Marvel Universe ties or you think the Hell's Kitchen characters stand better on their own, you can remove those from your display view.

The map is also being updated based on feedback coming in on the original Reddit thread.

Maybe Marvel Studios can use this philosophy to help them keep things a little more up-to-date, after Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts said that he was given access to "a literal scroll" that started at the beginning of time.

You can find the official synopsis for Homecoming below, which has a 4.13 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (MarisaTomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

The cast includes Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, JacobBatalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. It also includes Jon Favreau, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Michael Mando, Selenis Leyva, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg, Jr., JJ Totah, and Hannibal Buress, or at least someone who kind of looked like him.
