While fans are wondering when to expect the first trailer for the upcoming crossover film from Marvel, they'll have to make due with what they can get.
The latest update for Avengers: Infinity War comes in the form of a brand new logo. It might not be a trailer, but we'll take what we can get.
The new logo comes courtesy of Marvel Comics' solicitations for their publishing line in January 2018. In conjunction with Marvel Studios, fans can expect the first issue of Avengers: Infinity War - Prelude to drop that month.
The cover of the comic doesn't include any original art, instead featuring the new poster offered in three different sections over the course of San Diego Comic-Con. That poster features all of the major players in the new Avengers film, including the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Front and center, just like he deserves to be, is Thanos, the Mad Titan.
The two issue series by Will Corona Pilgrim and Tigh Walker will focus on the events leading up to the new movie, with the first comic recapping the events of Captain America: Civil War. It will also reveal what happened to Captain America, Black Widow, and the Falcon after the movie ended, and will offer fans a sneak peak at Tony Stark's new Iron Man armor for the film.
Check out the solicit for Avengers: Infinity War - Prelude #1 below:
