Spidey will be the first entry in a Spider-Man themed line of statues, including both allies and villains alike. You can see the concept artwork by Stefano Casali in the gallery, and all of the characters will be sculpted by Junnosuke Abe.

In addition to Peter Parker’s Spider-Man, the group will include the ever popular Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales Spider-Man, along with Spider-Man 2099. Kotobukiya is also introducing two versions of Venom, those being the classic Eddie Brock take and the more modern Flash Thompson rendition seen in recent years. The psychotic and murderous Carnage will round out the line.

As for Spidey himself, Koto went with a definitive take on the costume, mirroring the bright blue and red outfit from the comics. His eyes go with the smaller Ditko styling, as does the spider emblem on his chest. The pose is perfect, feeling as if directly pulled from a comic, and hopefully, Koto includes a base that also evokes the same retro feel. He comes in at around 3 and a half inches tall, and should cost about the same as the other ARTFX+ statues, right at $59.99. You can pre-order him at Kotobukiya’s official site, and make sure to check out more photos in the gallery.

As for the rest of the line, is there another Spider-Man character you’d like to see added? Let us know in the comments.
