Deadpool made plenty of fourth-wall-breaking jokes about Hugh Jackman and Wolverine that many thought a team-up would happen. Adding to the fact that Reynolds and Jackman’s working relationship goes all the way back to X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the first Wolverine solo movie and the first film in which Reynolds played Deadpool.
It made some amount of sense that Reynolds would involve himself in some small way with Jackman’s final film as Wolverine. While we did get to see a pre-film short, it certainly wasn’t what everyone wanted.

It is a unique combination of the serious tone from Logan with the quips from Deadpool that make for an enjoyable trailer.
Reynolds is currently working on pre-production for Deadpool 2. The sequel will introduce Cable into the X-Men Movies franchise, which was teased by the “Nathan Summers Is Coming” graffiti on the phone booth in the short — which will also feature Domino.
Logan currently has an 88.45 ComicBook Composite score, the second-highest ComicBook Composite score of any comic book movie, and a 4.71-out-of-5 user rating, making it the top rated of all comic book movies among ComicBook.com readers. Let us know what you thought of Logan by rating it below.
