Thaahum, the musician who first came to our attention with his "How Star Wars: The Force Awakens Should Have Ended" video, recently released a video featuring original music he wrote for the forthcoming Netflix release of Luke Cage.
"I wrote the lyrics, and the beat was produced by a DJ friend of mine, DJ Big Serg, who's in the video wearing the Hero for Hire Shirt," Thaahum told ComicBook.com. "My friend Kyana Marie, who sang the hook on my Civil War song, also makes an appearance."
Sweet Christmas! What a great video. Thanks for the shoutout. Y'all have the best fans! https://t.co/nTR2XO2Fkz

Appearing on Radio Supa tonight, Thaahum talked about the excitement he felt when his video was first spotlighted by Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker, and then retweeted by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Alfre Woodard, in the days following its release.
You can check out the tweet from Coker above, which features the YouTube link for Thaahum's track. You can also get just the audio down there, but let's be honest; why wouldn't you want to watch a video with Kyana Marie in it, if you had the choice?
You can also check out the flyer for the song in the image gallery attached: it's a pretty great mock-up of a Luke Cage comic book cover, featuring Thaahum, Kyana Marie, and DJ Big Serg.
If you just want to hear the song rather than running it through YouTube, you can check it out on Soundcloud:
