Thor: Ragnarok continues to hype its importance within the MCU, and fans are buying every bit of it. The film’s trailers have shown Thor in over his head as Hela wreaks havoc upon Asgard. However, a new behind-the-scenes video hints Thor will get his hammer back before the film ends at least.

Earlier today, Entertainment Tonight shared a video segment for the Thor sequel. The site was the only one to be brought on-set for Thor: Ragnarok to film, and they shared a clip that has fans eyeing Mjรถlnir.

As you can see below, the video contains a brief clip where Chris Hemsworth is filming a scene. The actor is wearing dark clothes with leather accents, and his hand is stretched out to his side. The pose should be very familiar to fans as Thor assumes it whenever he calls out for Mjรถlnir. And, given the hero’s hairstyle, netizens are thinking the shot may hint at the return of Mjรถlnir.

After all, fans already know the hero will literally lose Mjรถlnir during Thor: Ragnarok. Thor is seen using the weapon against Hela in trailers, but the Goddess of Death simply obliterates the hammer. The weapon’s destruction happens when Thor still has long hair, and he’s then forced to go on without his hammer as he fights Hela. The god loses his hair at some point later when he stumbles across the Grandmaster in Sakar, so Thor calling out to Mjรถlnir with short hair is a reassuring thing.

If Thor does get his trusty hammer back, fans won’t be the only ones who are happy.

Entertainment Tonight’s BTS video contains other set tidbits which fans will geek over. As far as new footage goes, the clip contains a short shot of Thor pressing Loki into a couch with Mjรถlnir. The god has his long hair and seems to be surrounded by Asgardian guards. The scene is likely one where Thor learns that Loki impersonated Odin to take control of Asgard, and the hero doesn’t seem too happy.

Thor: Ragnarok currently has a 4.17 out of 5 on ComicBook.com’s anticipation rankings.. You can rate your anticipation below.
