As part of an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Marvel Studios have released five new images from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.Seemingly composed of four still photos from the film or the set and a behind-the-scenes photo of directors Joe and Anthony Russo, the images emphasize the espionage feel of the movie, with lighting and colors that feel like the ’70s spy thrillers the Russo brothers have said they’re emulating.”We loved that idea of embracing the conflict that Steve has had in the comics from the moment he thawed out and woke up in the mid-’60s,” Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said. “Imagine that, going to sleep in the 1940s and waking up and you’ve got the JFK assassination and MLK and RFK and Woodstock and Watergate. Clearly, we’re not doing any of that stuff, but we’re embracing the tone of those comics.”
