Amazing Spider-Man 2 New Spider-Man Suit

Sony Pictures, the producers behind the Spider-Man films, are auctioning off the chance to appear as an extra in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to benefit the Christopher Barron Live Life Foundation. With about two weeks left in the bidding, the current going price is $3,000 for access to the visit, a brief background appearance in the movie, a meeting with the director and a photo with the cast. You'll also, let's face it, almost certainly end up on filmmaker Marc Webb's Twitter account. The Christopher Barron Live Life Foundation's mission is to honor the life of Christopher Barron who died in 2007 at the age of nine from leukemia and to instill his compassion and zest for life by providing underserved children unique opportunities to live life and pursue interests about which he was most passionate. With Christopher's passion for creating and selling his comic books in mind, the Foundation created 'Christopher's Comic Book Inspirations' comic book writing workshops led by professional comic writer, Alex Simmons. "The Foundation is thrilled to have this unbelievable opportunity. Christopher was a huge Spider-Man fan, having been read the Marvel comic books as bedtime stories," said Christopher's mom and Foundation president, Suzanne Andora Barron.
