The Lego Movie

When Warner Bros. puts DC Comics characters on the big screen, good things happen. Even though Warner Bros. might not be releasing a live action superhero movie this year, they've scored a huge hit with The Lego Movie, which includes Lego versions of characters like Batman, Superman, and more. The Lego Movie opened at the top of this weekend's box office, taking in and estimated $69.1 million at the U.S. box office. The Lego Movie is also receiving phenomenal reviews from critic and great buzz from viewers, so the film should enjoy a long run at the box office. The Lego Movie defeated The Monuments Men, which featured George Clooney and a ton of box office stars. The Monuments Men took second place with $22.7 million at the U.S. box office. Ride Along took third place with $9.4 million.
