Amazing Spider-Man 2 Feore

Director Marc Webb's tweets about the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie seem to be progressively getting better. Today, Marc Webb tweeted an image of a brand new character that will play a role in Amazing Spider-Man 2. Above is the first photo of Colm Feore's character. Comic book movie fans might recognize Colm Feore's name, because he also had a role in the first Thor movie. Feore played King Laufey of the Frost Giants. Even though we've heard that Marvel Studios and Sony will be coordinating setting their movies in the same universe, it doesn't look like Colm Feore will be a Frost Giant in Amazing Spider-Man 2 (even though we guess it's always possible he's a Frost Giant in human form). Our guess is that Feore is playing a warden or some other role at the Ravencroft Institute. We came up with that based on the fact that he's standing right next to a giant logo for Ravencroft Institute. Then again, Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been stacking up on the supervillains, so maybe Feore is a rather well-dressed prisoner. He would make for a good Vulture. Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in movie theaters on May 2, 2014.
