Barack Obama is President of the United States in the DC Universe

He may not have been re-elected (or may never have even existed) in the world of Iron Man 3, but President Barack Obama exists, and is President of the United States, in the world of DC Comics's The New 52. That's according to the third wall-breaking Channel 52 "news" segments that tease events going on in DC Comics this week. In this week's strip, which can be seen at the end of every DC comic book, Calendar Man notes that while President Obama's introduction of the newly-formed Justice League of America seems to be going pretty well, there's some public concern over Vibe, who wasn't a known quantity before being offered the job. And, really, with vetting skills like that, do you want him appointing Supreme Court justices? Get it together, Waller. And while we're talking about such weighty issues, why wasn't this feature called News 52 instead of Channel 52? That's just obvious. Get it together, DC.
