Batman and Superman might be great at protecting Gotham and Metropolis, but they're pretty awful at protecting your online accounts. Both characters' names are on the list of the 25 most popular, and therefore worst, passwords of 2014, released by password management software developer SplashData (via Time).
Superman came in at number 21 on the dubious list, with Batman following at 24. "123456" took the top spot, with several different variations placing elsewhere on the list, along with "password," "qwerty," "dragon" and other easy to figure out words or phrases.
Sorry people, looks like it's time to change those fan passwords.
The two poor passwords will appear on screen together in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, opening March 25, 2016.
