The other week we reported that Captain America appeared to be going the Super Spider-Man route. In Captain America #3, it was revealed that Steve Rogers had become infected with Arnim Zola's consciousness. Just like Doctor Octopus took over Peter Parker's mind, the presence of Arnim Zola implanted into Captain America's chest hinted that a similar fate could be in store for Steve Rogers. But surely, Marvel Comics wouldn't go that route so soon after the Amazing Spider-Man #700 storyline and given the well-publicized death of Captain America storyline from several years ago. Well, if the solicitation for Captain America #6 is to be believed, then that is exactly where Marvel Comics is going. The teaser text for Captain America #6 notes "Steve Rogers is dead—long live Captain Zola!" Captain America #6 is written by Rick Remender with art by John Romita Jr.
