Captain America: The Winter Soldier started strong with a record breaking opening weekend in early April and has remained strong over three weeks in theaters. Now sitting at a $601.7 million worldwide gross, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the highest grossest film of 2014 so far, beating the second highest grossing film by about $160 million (The Lego Movie with $441.8 million). In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.
