Getting your comics graded by CGC has become common practice, but the team wants you to know they aren’t resting on their laurels and thus have developed an even better comic holder for your priceless comics.

Well, I say priceless, but your ten copies of Spawn #1 will also look quite nice in their redesigned shell as well. The biggest design change is the removal of the inner well, which sounds simple enough but actually took about six months to develop. Removing the inner well allowed the heat seal lines, previously visible, to completely disappear. In addition Mylar sheets have been added to the inside to help preserve the pages, and the frosting on the edges was removed so collectors could see the sides of the book more clearly.
The most recognizable part of a CGC graded book is the grade itself, which has been tweaked accordingly for easier readability at a glance. The label is also itself encased within the top enclosure, as opposed to being simply a sticker that can erode away over time.
The new comic holder will become the standard starting on April 4th.
