, Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons's comic about a James Bond-like secret agent balancing the needs of saving the world with those of training his successor (in the form of his snotty nephew), is beginning to take shape on the big screen, with Colin Firth reported in talks to take the lead role. The film, which is set to be directed by Matthew Vaughn from a script he wrote with Jane Goldman, was reportedly was reportedly intended to pair Firth with Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson, but The Hollywood Reporter suggests that at present it looks like only Firth will be involved due to scheduling. Mark Hamill, as reported in the past, is expected to reprise his cameo from the comic book, although it's unclear whether Ridley Scott will do the same. The Secret Service will be distributed by Fox domestically and is expected in theaters on November 14, 2014.
