On Thursday, April 4, the Season 2 Finale for Comic Book Men will air, and it could be the last new episode of Comic Book Men that fans will ever see. In a Reddit Q&A earlier today, Comic Book Men producer Kevin Smith revealed that the show has not yet been picked up by AMC for a third season. In talking about spending time in Red Bank, New Jersey where his Secret Stash store is located, Kevin Smith said, "The beauty of COMIC BOOK MEN is it's an excuse to hit the Bank, see the store and hang with my friends... while getting paid to do so. Hopefully, AMC renews us for Season 3 and I can keep doing it. It'd be nice to be on the air when CLERKS III happens but if we're shown the door before that, I can't complain: that show's been a gift to me and mine any way you slice it." Comic Book Men started this season airing after the Talking Dead (the after-show for The Walking Dead). However, Talking Dead was expanded to an hour long show, and Comic Book Men was moved to Thursday nights as part of a reality TV block on AMC. The Comic Book Men Season 2 Finale airs on Thursday, April 4 starting at 10 PM ET on AMC. If you're a fan of the show, then the finale would be a good time to spread the word to tune in, as a ratings boost for the finale would probably help push AMC to bring the show back for a third season.
