Daisy Ridley went to the Oscars Sunday night as a presenter, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to talk about Star Wars, at least a little bit.

In an interview with MTV on the red carpet, Ridley, who just started shooting Star Wars: Episode VIII, had a little bit of a tease for the film. While she noted that she tries to be careful in red carpet interviews because she's "very honest" and scared to blurt something out, she did have this to say:

"No, it's two hours of me and Mark Hamill staring at each other," she joked, referencing the final scene of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. "At the end of the film, you're not sure if he's going to take her or not, and [Episode] 9 opens the same way."

In seriousness, though, she confirmed that the film picks up right where Force left off.

"When we went back to Skellig [Michael, Ireland] to do the opening of Episode VIII, it was so crazy doing the same scene with a different crew of people," Ridley said. "[Hamill]'s amazing to rehearse with, and I'm so excited to do the rest of stuff. It's such a good story!" she said with a huge smile. "Seriously, Luke is so cool in this one."

Star Wars: Episode VIII is filming now for a December 15, 2017 release.
