Daredevil Netflix Series: First Look Photos Released

At New York Comic Con, Marvel just released the first official photos from the Daredevil Netflix series.

Marvel's Daredevil is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.

The cast of Daredevil includes Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk).

The headlining image show's Matt Murdock in what is presumably an early version of his iconic Daredevil disguise. The look first appeared in the Daredevil series Man Without Fear, illustrated by artist John Romita Jr.

Marvel's first original series on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard, along with Marvel TV's Jeph. Marvel's Daredevil is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix

Daredevil premieres on Netflix in 2015.
