Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes Teaser Warns Of Simian Flu

A new teaser trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has been released online. The trailer traces the effects of the simian flu from its beginnings in 2011 through its final result, destroying human society within a decade and leaving Earth for the Apes to inherit.

In Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, a growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opens in theaters July 11.
