Dermott Downs, whose directing credits include episodes of Arrow, The Flash, iZombie, Supergirl and Gotham, will helm the season finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which is filming now.
A tweet from showrunner Marc Guggenheim revealed that four of the show's primary producers will be involved with writing the episode, which is titled "Legendary." Guggenheim and Phil Klemmer wrote the teleplay from a story by Greg Berlanti and Chris Fedak.
For those who might not remember, Fedak and Klemmer, who came on to the series while it was in development, have worked together for years, notably on the geek favorite Chuck.

Little is known about the finale, other than the fact that it is expected to introduce a new DC Comics superhero whose agenda will drive much of Season Two. There's been a lot of speculation, but no credible evidence, as to the identity of that superhero.
Keep your eyes on ComicBook.com throughout the week, of course; there's a good chance The CW will announce who that character is soon.
