Fantastic Worlds of Frank Frazetta Being Released By Image Comics

If you're still looking for that special something for the comic book fan on your holiday list, then Image Comics might have the answer. Just in time for the holidays, Image Comics is releasing an oversized Frank Frazetta hardcover. The Fantastic Worlds of Frank Frazetta will present some of the first-ever authorized comics based off some of the most famous paintings of Frazetta. The first addition will include Frank Frazetta's Dark Kingdom by Mark Kidwell & Tim Vigil, Frank Frazetta's Creatures by Rick Remender and Peter Bergting, Frank Frazetta's Dracula Meets The Wolf-man by Steve Niles and Francesco Francavilla and Frank Frazetta's Swamp Demon by Joshua Ortega and Josh Medors. The book will also include bonus materials such as scripts, preliminary sketches, and unused pages. "The Fantastic Worlds of Frank Frazetta is a must have book for any Frazetta fan," Frazetta Comics Editor Jay Fotos said. "We wanted to make this first installment as cool as you can make it so not only did we bring the stories and art in an oversized format, but we stuffed it with as much extra content that we could. There's well over sixty pages of original material that no fan has ever seen before!" The Fantastic Worlds of Frank Frazetta will be 156 pages long and will retail for $29.99. It is schedule to be released in stores on November 26th, 2008.
