Marvel have released the latest featurette for James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, due in theaters in just under two weeks -- and it focuses on Chris Pratt's Peter Quill/Star-Lord.

"What attracted me to this role was really the arc of the character," Pratt says in the video embedded below. "Peter Quill -- he's the only human in this crazy world, traveling through space, getting to do whatever he wants. But there's something missing in his life and in the course of the movie he has to learn that there's more to life than just taking exactly what you want."

Guardians of the Galaxy opens on August 1.
