The Halo franchise has done a lot of innovative and outside-the-box marketing. There've been ARGs (alternate reality games) that have had gamers hunting for clues around the real world. They've done live-action trailers that lead to live-action series. Now there's even an audio play, called Hunt the Truth.

The series racked up 6.7 million listens in its first season, and the second season premieres today, ramping up to the October 27, 2015 release of Halo 5: Guardians. The series can be found on iTunes, but the preferred method of experiencing it is through the Hunt the Truth website.

On the tumblr site, you can find new episodes today, Tuesday, and also this Thursday, with new episodes then releasing each Tuesday until the game's release. There are also still-shots, personal journals and more. It all stars journalist Benjamin Giraud, voiced by Keegan Michael Key, and a supercut of all three and a half hours of season one is at the top of the page - and right here - right now.

Season 2 focuses on FERO, a rebel leader voiced by Janina Gavankar (The League, True Blood). Mark Hamill, Tamara Taylor, Alan Tudyk, Jerry Trainor, Rosa Salazar, Peter Serafinowicz, William Salyers, and Vanessa Marshall also feature in the star-studded voice cast.
