Happy birthday, Emma Stone. The actress turns 28 today.
Born in November 1988, Stone was raised in Arizona by parents Krista and Jeffrey. She and her younger brother attended local schools where Stone quickly became interested in theater. She turned to drama to help deal with persistent panic attacks, and Stone's family were eager to support her theatrical passion.
Stone began her professional acting career in 2004 after he moved to Los Angeles. The actress was cast in a pilot for VH1 which never took off before Stone landed a guest role in Lucky Louie. The actress made her feature film debut in Superbad circa 2007 with Michael Cera and Jonah Hill. Afterwards, she starred in movies like The Rocker and The House Bunny.
However, her breakout role came in 2009 when Stone joined onto Zombieland with Woody Harrelson. She was praised for her work, and Stone was quickly snapped up for the teen comedy, Easy A. Moviegoers fell in love with the actress' innate humor and comedic timing, and Stone quickly found herself turned into one of Hollywood's it-girls.
After her breakthrough, Stone starred in the Oscar-nominated film The Help. She then signed onto the new reboot of Spider-Man to play Gwen Stacy in 2012. The actress starred in The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel before providing vocal talents to DreamWork's The Croods. Stone has also played praised role in projects like Birdman, Cabaret, and more.
