Honey Boo Boo Comic Book Announced

While Mars Attacks Honey Boo Boo might have been a joke by a publisher at comic book conventions, Honey Boo Boo now really is getting her own comic book. Bluewater Production has announced that they will be publishing a Honey Boo Boo comic book as part of their "15 Minutes" biography comic line that focuses on the stars of reality television. The Honey Boo Boo comic book will tell the story of Alana Mitchell, who is better known as pint sized pageant queen Honey Boo Boo. The Honey Boo Boo comic is being done by writer/artist Michael Troy. "Andy Warhol's quote about 15 minutes of fame is one of my favorites and as a pop culture junkie I jumped at the chance to put my spin on spoon fed America's latest reality obsession Honey Boo Boo", said writer/ artist Michael Troy. "Clearly this one was meant to be fun for people and not to educate society" said publisher Darren G. Davis. "There are some of these biographies we do for strictly the entertainment value". 15 Minutes: Honey Boo Boo is being released on Wednesday, November 14. The print version of the comic is available exclusively at Comic Flea Market.  Digital versions are available for iPad, iPhone, Nook, or Kindle at iTunes, Nook, Amazon, Wowio, ComiXology, and My Digital Comics.
