As part of Halloween ComicFest, Diamond Comic Distributors is encouraging adults to give comic books to trick-or-treaters instead of candy with the Halloween ComicFest mini-comic packs. Each pack contains 20 mini-comics for all ages and is available to purchase exclusively from comic book specialty shops through the month of October.

There are seven mini-comic titles to choose from, including Angry Birds, Mermin, Archie, Plants vs. Zombies, Vamplets, BOOM! FrightFest, and Little Battlers. The mini-comic packs are available to purchase for a suggested retail price of $4.99 exclusively from comic shops.

"The mini-comics are a perfect goodie for kids to receive as they can enjoy this sweet treat longer than a piece of candy, and it encourages kids to read," said Halloween ComicFest spokesperson Deborah Moreland. "The mini-comics are great not only for passing out on Halloween but can be used as prizes for costume contests, teaching tools and family entertainment at Halloween parties as kids can swap comics and spend quality time reading them."
