Gimme a break, Gimme a break, Break me off a piece of that gold-covered Kit Kat Bar!

To celebrate over a million visitors to their eight specialty Kit Kat stores, Nestlé Japan will be offering "Sublime Gold" Kit Kat, a limited edition Kit Kat thinly covered with gold leaf and said to have a rich, bitter chocolate taste. Only 500 of these bars will be produced. They'll be sold later this month at specialty stores located in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo and Fukuoka. Each finger will set you back $16 bucks (2,016 yen/£10.50)!

But wait, there's more!

There will also be an opportunity to win an actual, 24-karat gold version of the iconic chocolate bar. Weighing in at 230 grams (8.1 ounces), customers who sign up for the Chocolatory membership program in January will be in the running to win the unique item. - rocketnews24

Kit Kats in Japan come in a plethora of flavors. In the past 15 years alone, Nestlé Japan has produced over 200 different flavors of Kit Kat bars, such as Apple Pie, Shinshu Apple, Matcha Green Tea, Strawberry, Hot Japanese Chili, and Wasabi.
