New Star Trek Beyond TV Spot Reveals Human Side Of Idris Elba's Krall

Idris Elba plays Krall, the main villain in Star Trek Beyond, though you may not recognize him since his recognizable features are hidden under makeup and prosthetics. Even his famous, booming voice doesn't quite sound the same since he delivers his lines with an alien-like speech pattern.

However, this latest TV spot reveals that Krall actually had a human form at one point. We see it when Captain Kirk and his crew watch a personal log Krall recorded long ago.

"The Federation do not care about us," Krall says in the video. "They abandoned this planet long ago. They'll probably never seen me again. But if you do, be ready."
