What could be better than catching 'em all? How about eating 'em all? While there might be some fans averse to eating Pokemon-inspired goods, the pancake artists over at Dancakes recently proved that their subscribers would be willing to enjoy some rare pokemon pancakes.

The channel recently uploaded a Youtube video titled, "Mewtwo - Pokemon Pancake Art." The video, obviously, shows just what you would expect. The pair worked to create an edible version of Mewtwo, one of the rarest pokemon to grace the Japanese franchise.

The video starts out with its artist sketching out the pokemon's frame in a dark-colored batter. Viewers can clearly see Mewtwo's iconic eyes and muscular body take shape on a hot, portable griddle. The artist then goes in and fills in highlights for the pokemon before the creature's bright purple coloring is added. Using two different shades of purple, the artist is able to layer the colors and add an insane amount of depth to the pokemon pancake.

When the pancake is flipped, you can almost hear fans gasping from their computers. Or, maybe, that was just me as I did actually do a jaw-drop. The pancake art looks like it was taken from the actual Pokemon games as the pokemon looks hyper-realistic despite its doughy composition. Seriously, it looks real enough that I'd be tempted to throw a pokeball at before I ate it.

The video was uploaded to Dancakes' social media sites, and so far, the clip has been viewed over 643k times on Facebook alone. The pair's page has since been flooded with more pokemon requests, a hardly surprise fact when you consider Pokemon GO's current popularity.
