Star Wars Battlefront isn't a bad looking game, by any stretch, but it doesn't exactly push gaming technology to its limit either. Modder Martin Bergman decided to go ahead and give the game that push with his "Real Life" mod.
As the title implies, the mod tries to improve the game's fidelity to the point that it's indistinguishable from real life. The improvements include bumping the framerate up to 60 FPS, and increasing the resolution to 4k.
You can check out the sample video below, but you'll need a 4k display to truly appreciate it.
If you've got Star Wars: Battlefront and a high-end PC and monitor, and you wish Battlefront looked just a little bit more like an actual Star Wars movie, then this "Real Life" mod is probably for you.
Star Wars Battlefront allows players to partake in battles from various eras of the Star Wars saga, including The Battle of Jakku, which leads into the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Check out when Star Wars: The Force Awakens and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
