Star Wars fans should be seeing the teaser trailer very soon and when they do, it will feature the film’s new villain, Da7e of Latino-Review reports.
“Yessir, yessir, people in Europe have also been secretly shown the minute-long Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser that we heard rumblings about yesterday which means there are enough people in the world who have seen it to get confirmations about things,” Da7e explains. “Namely, what character flashes we're going to be seeing and if they only include our good guys.”
The film’s new villain, which is being labeled by fans as the “cyborg” or “Inquisitor” is featured in the teaser.
Da7e also reports that the designs of the new big bad are very reminiscent of two very distinctive characters in the Star Wars mythos.
“He's masked (no identity spoilers yet!) and the final design of the mask looks somewhere in between the red-colored Imperial Guards from Return of the Jedi and Darth Reven from Knights of the Old Republic,” Da7e explained.
Star Wars Episode VII opens December 18, 2015.
