According to Variety, Relativity Media has signed The Crow creator James O'Barr to be a consultant on The Crow reboot. The Crow reboot will star Luke Evans, and the film is being directed by F. Javier Gutierrez from a script by Cliff Dorfman. O'Barr and Gutierrez will also be appearing at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con to discuss The Crow reboot and meet with fans. James O'Barr said, "It is important for Crow fans to understand that Relativity, Javier, Luke and the entire team are working on a new adaptation of the book itself. I believe that this movie will stand alongside Brandon and his film as a valid work of art, and I look forward to collaborating on the project." The Crow reboot is set to start filming in early 2014.
