The 84th Academy Awards are next Sunday, and the Academy just announced the presenters. Tina Fey, Chris Rock and Bradley Cooper are three of the A-listers who will present.  But there also a pair of Muppets that will make an appearance as well. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will present during the show next Sunday, topping off a heck of a year for the Muppets.  Last year's 'The Muppets' was a huge success at the box office, pulling in $88 million in U.S. theaters alone.  The film also was a favorite among many critics, landing on a few Top 10 lists for 2011.  The success of the film propelled it to receive an Oscar nomination for Original Song for 'Man or Muppet.' In our review of 'The Muppets,' we thought the film should have received a Best Picture nomination, especially since the category now honors 10 movies.  But just like comic book movies, the Academy doesn't have much admiration for films like 'The Muppets.' Maybe if Jason Segal would have written in a few characters with British accents it would have gotten that Best Picture nod. No word on which award Kermit and Miss Piggy will present, so you'll have to tune in to ABC Sunday, February 26th to find out.
