Following tonight’s chaotic midseason premiere of The Walking Dead, AMC has released a look at next week’s episode, the tenth of season six, titled, “The Next World.”

The Next World will be dealing with the aftermath of the zombie horde’s run through Alexandria’s streets, which resulted in a major character receiving quite a facelift and several others losing their lives.
In the comics, the “No Way Out” storyline was followed “A Larger World.” Rick’s speech to Carl in episode 6×09 was, at times, verbatim the speech he capped the comic book arc with, which means The Next World will probably closely mirror the Larger World story. That means, new communities, new characters, and the start of a new beginning.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
