Next Sunday's "The Bicameral Mind" episode is the final chapter in the first season of HBO's Westworld. Since the cable network hasn't released an official synopsis for it, the only clues as to what will be revealed in it will have to come from the sneak preview in the video above.

Well, there's also this tantalizing quote from Jimmi Simpson, who promised questions will be answered in the season finale. "I would say I was on the edge of my seat all the way until I got the tenth script," Simpson told Vanity Fair. "I think we all had different ideas, and then when 10 came — I think I could speak for most of the cast — the general feeling was like, 'Holy f—king s—t.' Because basically, what they've done is they've somehow tied up everything you wanted to know and then pointed this whole world of other s–t that you hadn't really thought of that now you really, really want to know, too. It's not some bulls–t cliffhanger where you're like, 'Oh f–k, what now?' It's like, 'Oh my God, thank you, and I can't wait for more.'"

So, when can fans expect the second season of Westworld to arrive? Casey Bloys, HBO President of Programming, told THR, he hopes the show will return for fall 2017; however, he cautioned that 2017 might be too optimistic of a timetable. Because "the production is such a big endeavor," he could also foresee Season 2 debuting sometime in 2018.
